In the case of the cold La Niña event-- the coastal waters off British Columbia tend to be cool. In a La Niña winter, the Canadian air temperature (especially west of Quebec) tends to be below normal, while the precipitation in southern Canada tends to be above normal. Southern British Columbia tends to receive more snow.
SBX- Super sunny day, Carle Brenneman took 2nd, Meghna Herbert 4th, Sara Niblock 5th, Shane Qualified in 1st, but took 5th in the end.
Slopestyle- Sunny, slushy and super fun! Sara Niblock 1st, carle Brenneman 3rd, and Shane Roy 2nd. Not too bad for a SBX team!
B.A, BAriloche, San Martin de Los Andes, Chapelco....
Bike Tour around the City of Buenos Aires.
La Boca, super cool neighbourhood in B.A.
Arrived in Bariloche... kinda rainy and wet, which means its dummping in the Mountains. We hopped into a van and drove to San Martin de Los Andes, missing the only gas station on the way. We were pretty close to spending the night along side the highway, but karma saved us and we just made, with probably 1/2 liter to spare!
Day 1; We met an Argentine Local who showed us they way around the mountain. Every run was amazing!
Snow was hip deep!!!!!!
Day 3 still deep in the trees, tns of fun pillows and lil drops.
Basking in the sun after a hard day of shredin' Pow
The PFA; Policia Federal Argentina, pulled us over and refused let our van up the mountain road since we didn't have and chains, so we hiked about 1 km, until we hitched a ride in the back of a pick up truck! Anything for pow on a bluebird day
