We took a day off snow due to high winds, so we set out to explore the city of Innsbruck!
The river that flows alongside the city is very blue and crystal clean, since it is glacier fed. A lonley planete book I read stated " the river is so clean, locals here fish out of it, unlike in the US". haha. Im not much of a city gal, but I do enjoy people watching and taking in the view! I thought lederhosen was just worn at oktoberfest, but apparently not. I enjoyed the views, indulged in local beer and people watched to the fullest.
